Wow, Really, Really enjoyed this book. A little science fiction, a little science, and a LOT of action. The main Characters Tremain, Margaret, Christopher and Alice are great. Their interaction was a real boost to the story. The premise of the story was quite entertaining. Want to read more books by Terry Marchion. If you love a good plot and a book with a little education thrown in, you will totally enjoy this book.
Weird disturbances…aliens…a missing mentor? This all adds up to the latest adventure for Christopher and Tremain and for once, it’s not Tremain’s fault! I loved the use of past flashbacks to bring the reader deeper into the story. It really helped with the mystery. All of our favorite characters are revisited and there are even a few surprises! As always, these two geniuses’ take us on a humorous and exciting ride. If you’re looking for a clean, refreshing young adult read then I would recommend this book to you! All of these stories are short, quick sci-fi reads.

This is another exciting adventure with Tremain and Christopher. This time Tremain’s old mentor Marjorie has disappeared and pockets of different realities are cropping up causing mayhem and confusion. When they start investigating, it looks like these events are linked.
The characters continue to grow and Christopher and Tremain now have girlfriends - although Tremain doesn’t seem to realise it yet.
Lots of great humour and sciencey stuff, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in the next story!
My first thought was that I wish that I could just Ditto "Angel Leya's" review, as she so elegantly stated things that I'd also like to say about this book. I'm not sure that I can add much, other than to say that I've read and enjoyed all of Terry Marchion's books and this one is no exception. I too look forward to the developing romantic relationships of Tremain and Christopher, as well as learning more about the Mayflower people, and the various properties of the lodestones found around their extinct civilization.
We meet a couple of new characters in this story, which I think will figure prominently in forthcoming stories (at least I hope so, as they have so much potential). This book sets the stage for even greater adventures to come, and I certainly look forward to future stories with Tremain and Christopher. It's so nice to read a well written clean adventure story.

While I really enjoyed this, I found it not as good as the other adventures of Tremain and Christopher. The humor was there; the science and technology were there; the sense of suspense and danger were missing.

Like the other books in the series, this one is suitable for both YA readers and adults. YA readers will enjoy the humor in the book from the reason for Solomon’s name to the gnat-sized fighter ships. Adult readers will also enjoy the humor but will find Marjorie an important character and will be able to sympathize with her loneliness and her sense of being isolated.
I do believe these stories get better with every new book. )

Something is disrupting the space-time continuum, and for once, Tremain isn't the cause. In addition to the bazaar occurrences (would you make a trade with bigfoot?), Tremain's old mentor is missing. The dynamic duo will have to stop the disturbances, find the mentor, and fend off bureaucrats before all of space-time collapses.

Another fun romp with Tremain and Christopher. I love how the author is pushing these characters forward in learning and life and relationships (oooOOOooh!). And the humor and ingenuity of the situations and solutions makes reading these books a delight. I even felt the storytelling was, at times, reminiscent of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

And after reading two books that killed off beloved characters, this book was just the remedy for my book hangover. )
I loved this mix of Sci Fi fantasy and Sci Probability, all woven into a unique tale at the younger end of the YA scale. If you’re looking for good clean fun I’d recommend this series.
